Stretch sessions are table-based assisted stretching that focus on lengthening muscles and fascia (or connective tissue). Stretch sessions dramatically improve long-term flexibility and range of motion. Also, stretch sessions correct muscle imbalances and improve posture. Stretch sessions are used to reduce pain, improve athletic performance (including golf performance), reduce the risk of injury, recover from injury or surgery, improve sleep, etc. Stretch sessions focus on relaxation in a pain-free environment to achieve optimal results.
Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a stretch method that uses stabilization to isolate individual muscles and the associated fascia. AIS uses dynamic 2-second active stretches to lengthen the muscles and fascia.
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a stretch method that focuses on lengthening the entire fascial network throughout our body. FST includes traction to expand the joint capsules and PNF techniques for relaxation.

Stretch Practitioner Ben Wooley brings over 15 years of personal training experience to Corrective Exercise Solutions, LLC. He is currently certified as an AIS Practicioner and as a Level III Fascial Stretch Specialist (CFSS). Ben is also a Performance Enhancement Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (#1340872). He earned his MS in Kinesiology from Southern Illinois University in 2008. Prior to completing his education, Ben served four years with the 1st Reconnaissance Co., 1st Marine Division.
